This Jamaica Hotel and Tour Booking Site is owned and operated by the Jamaican local Andrew Sharpe and the team at Authentic Caribbean Holidays.

Authentic Caribbean Holidays is made up of young local Jamaican nationals who are devoted to tourism and sustainable development. With a passion for tourism, it is our pleasure to serve you. With knowledge of the Caribbean and Jamaica we strive to provide you with exceptional service and professionalism. Our carefully developed itineraries and local knowledge can be used to your advantage to get the most authentic Jamaican holiday experience possible.

Supporting our local community and working towards lessening each individuals carbon footprint on our beautiful island nation is a high priority for Authentic Caribbean Holidays. We have an Internship program for university students studying tourism, and provide work to many locals as drivers, tour guides etc. We have also implemented a Plant a tree program during many of our set tours.

Many of our tours are truly cultural experiences that offer our visitors a view of Jamaica from a locals perspective.

A little bit about the team at Authentic Caribbean Holidays:

Mr Andrew Sharpe
My name is Andrew Sharpe. I have been working in the Jamaican tourism and travel industry for many years. As a child I always wanted to become a pilot, but after leaving school I got a taste of the tourism industry when I got my first job in food and beverage as a cook. I worked as a cook for two years, and then moved on learning more about the industry by moving from one department to the another, learning diving, hotel operations, car rental and airline operations. After 10 years I made the decision to start my own tour company, Authentic Caribbean Holidays.
